What is Sezi?
Sezi is a video dating app inside Telegram, Made in Kazakhstan. Instead of photo profiles and swiping, women set the questions and men answer them in short videos — and she decides on every approach. The name comes from the Kazakh sezu — to feel.
When does it launch?
It’s in development now. Join the waitlist and we’ll email you once — when Sezi opens in your city.
How is it different from Tinder or Bumble?
Three ways. A man cannot start with a cold message: he approaches by answering her questions, and the number of approaches is limited by design, so her inbox never turns into a flood. Every approach gets a real decision, so effort never disappears into silence. And there is no photo profile to embellish — the video is the profile, so you meet the person you actually saw talking.
Why video only?
Because a photo is the least honest part of a dating profile — and because it hides the best part of many people. Humor, voice, the way someone thinks: none of it photographs. Fifteen seconds of video carries more truth than a page of filtered pictures, and expectations built on it survive the first date.
Do only women ask questions?
No. Anyone can post questions, and answering is always optional. A woman can answer a question just for her own gallery, or send a direct video answer to the man who asked. That direct answer is the one first move she can make: he sees it and decides whether to open the chat. The same consent rules work both ways: a like opens the chat, a pass closes the interaction clearly.
Who will see my videos?
Only people inside Sezi that the app shows you to — profiles are not browsable on the open internet. Every answer — a man’s or a woman’s — is recorded either for the gallery inside Sezi or just for one person; that choice is made per answer. Playback carries a watermark to deter screen recording.
What happens to my videos and data?
They are used to run Sezi: matching, profiles, and conversations inside the app. We never sell your data. If you delete your account, your videos disappear everywhere, including from other people’s chats.
Is it free?
The core experience is free at launch: recording, questions, approaches, chats. Paid features may come later, but with a hard rule — payment can make a man more visible, it can never force a conversation. A chat opens only when there is a real decision to continue. Verification is free and always will be.
Who can use Sezi?
Adults 18+ in Kazakhstan at launch; dating between men and women. You only need a Telegram account — Sezi runs inside Telegram, nothing to install.
What languages does it support?
Kazakh, Russian, and English. The question experience is adapted for each language.
